HELP ON THE HOMEFRONT (HOTH) Run
On Saturday, May 21, 2011 the Patriot Guard Riders of New York will be holding their 1st Annual Capital District PGR Motorcycle Run. The funds generated by this event will be used to support the Patriot Guard Riders "HELP ON THE HOMEFRONT" (HOTH) project.
I could try to give you an idea of what the HOTH project does but I think you will be better served hearing it from Mr. Rick Juliano, Director of Help On The Homefront HOTH, Patriot Guard Riders, New York.
"The Patriot Guard Riders being Patriot Guard Riders, wanted to take on a more involved role in the lives of our veterans. Not only our heroes who have paid to ultimate sacrifice, but also the men and women who face challenges resulting from their service to our country. Enter the HOTH program -Whether they be a Marine receiving treatment in a New York State VA facility, the family of a Soldier who has fallen on hard times, A wounded Airman that may need assistance adjusting to life and coping with his injury, or any other service member and their family that we can assist, the PGRNY through the HOTH program will do whatever possible to honor and assist these veterans."
This is another event that should be high on your event list of events you should attend. The funds generated from this event will be used to help a great many veterans and their families and what can possibly be a more worthwhile cause than that.
