June is Finally Here
Our favorite month of the year is finally here. Lets hope we survive it.
We live in the Lake George region and have always looked forward to the month of June. We love the fact that the area fills with motorcycle riders. Even when we did not have bikes, we would tour the area just to see what vendors were set up and where. Once Americade was in full swing, we would make evening trips thru Lake George to see the bikes, but more importantly, to see the crowds.
This year we are more excited than ever. The magazine gives us new reasons to particpate and we look forward to reporting to you on some of the events that are scheuled in the area which are not affiliated with Americade. For your convenience we have created an article named "Major Events Surrounding Americade" in which you will find links to the detail pages for these events. We hope this assists you in your planning activities if you are coming to Lake George during Americade week.
We are registered with Americade and will be reporting to you on our participation in those events. Maybe we will even buy some bling for the bike.
We have obtained the final schedule for Warrensburg Bike Week and have created an article that details ALL of the events that will be happening in the hamlet of Warrensburg. We have tried, to the best of our knowledge, to detail where the vendors will be setting up in "The Burg". Please note that there are events listed in this schedule that are NOT in the normal schedule of events and are not listed in the article entitled "Major Events Surrounding Americade".
This month we drove to Tupper Lake and visited with Beard at the Trails End Tavern and obtained the schedule of events for the Northern Adirondacks. We are in the process of adding them to the "Schedule of Motorcycle Events in Upstate NY" section of the magazine.
We will have a registration booth set up at Sportys Iron Duke Saloon during the custom bike show that Sporty hosts in association with the Goat Brothers on June 12th. If you are up there, stop by and say hi.
