The Season is Starting to Ramp Up

It has been some intensely hard work to get the May issue released but we did it.

The riding season is starting to ramp up and we added about a dozen new events to the schedule of events.

It has been some intensely hard work to get the May issue released but we did it.

The riding season is starting to ramp up and we added about a dozen new events to the schedule of events.

For our "Places To Go" section we visited with Britt who is the owner of the Boars Nest Bar & Grill in West Fort Ann NY.

Our "People To See" section found us talking to the president and the founder of the Low Expectations Motorcycle Club in Albany NY.

June 7th thru June 12th is Americade week.  We thought we would publish an Americade Survival Guide.  We hope you find it humorous and informative at the same time.

During the period that Americade is in progress, the Village of Warrensburg plays host to Warrensburg Bike Week.  There are vendors up and down Main Street and there are events happening every day of the week.  If you are looking for something to do outside of the Americade events, give the article a read and you may just find something that suits your needs.

There are two other events happening in May that we wanted to highlight.  The Schenectady Cancer Foundation is having a screening of the adventure movie "Long Way Down" to raise money for the foundation.  Our good friends at Sportline Power Products are having a Grand Opening of their expanded facility on May 15th.

We want to take the time to thank you for subscribing and would like to remind you that as subscribers you can post comments on any of our articles and we welcome the feedback.  You can also enter your own events into the event calendar and your own entries into the directory.  We also welcome user submitted articles and encourage you to do so.

Next month, if plans work out, we will have an article that will both amuse you and surprise you.

Ride well and ride safe

Boars Nest Bar & Grill

The year was 2008 and the recession was in full swing, new home sales were down 26% and existing home sales were down 10%.  Somewhere within this maelstrom of events Brit Patch was trying to determine the course of her future.  Brit was a mortgage councilor and it was apparent to even the most casual observer that there was not much of a future in Real Estate.

It was at this point in time that Brit decided that she should take a different path to her future.  Rick & Carols was an old school classic country bar located in West Fort Ann since the 1980's.  The establishment was for sale and Brit decided that her future endeavors would revolve around owning a tavern/restaurant.  In August 2008, Brit purchased Rick & Carols and proceeded to refurbish the business with the name "The Boars Nest Bar & Grill" and the newly named establishment was opened in January 2009.

Britt

When I asked Britt how she came up with the name she told me when she and her boy friend first approached the tavern he said; "This place kind of looks like that bar in the movie the Dukes of Hazard".  After renting the movie and seeing that the bar in the movie very closely resembles the bar she was thinking of buying she decided to name it after the bar in the movie which was named The Boars Nest.

Line DancingFrom the start Britt decided that the Boars Nest would be "One of those down home places where you feel comfortable walking into".  Once you get to know Britt you realize why she is able to make sure that the Boars Nest is a fun place to be. It is really simple; the Boars Nest reflects her personality.  On Saturday nights there is a live band which is usually a Rock band.  Every 2nd and 3rd Sunday night is Classic Country from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.  Pool Table areaThursday nights is beginners Line Dancing starting at 6:00 PM with intermediate and advanced classes starting at 7:30 PM.  DJ Bill and Susie provide the music and instruction.  Every 3rd Friday of the month is Karaoke night from 8:00 PM to 12:00 PM.  There is a large selection of wines and liquors available and the beer is available on tap.  The tavern section is also equipped with several flat screen televisions for your viewing enjoyment and the prerequisite pool table is present as well.

Dining AreaThe Boars Nest is also a restaurant with full service dining and a full menu selection.  They are known for their steaks which are hand cut and grilled to order and for their baby back ribs coated in their own homemade barbeque sauce.  The steaks are even available Au Poivre which is this author's favorite method of steak preparation.  There is ample comfortable seating in the dining area which is segregated from the hustle and bustle of the tavern area and the service is fast and courteous.

Bar Area

Main StructureIf you are planning a festival or party, the Boars Nest is equipped to fully cater your event. There is ample room within the main structure to seat upwards of 150 people.  If your activity plans lean more towards an outdoor event, the covered pavilion will suite your needs nicely.  Since the Boars Nest is a tavern and a restaurant they can fully cater your event down to the last detail.  There are horseshoe pits, volleyball nets and a bonfire pit available for the use of your guests.

Burn OutDuring the week of Americade the Boars Nest Bar & Grill hosts its' Annual Biker Bash.  This year the eveBoars Nest Bikent runs from June 10th to June 12th.  On Friday June 11th there is a run to benefit the local SPCA.  There is no cost for the run but a donation to the SPCA would be welcomed and is very highly encouraged.  The ride will begin at 6:00 PM at the Boars Nest and will end at the Boars Nest.  There will be a party in the field with live music when the ride returns.  Throughout the three day event there will be mud wrestling, wet t-shirt contests, burn-out competitions, bonfires and live bands.  Camping is available and it is suggested that you reserve your site early as the sites tend to fill up fast.  We will be there Friday night so if you are there, look us up.  The bulk of the activities occur on Saturday June 12th but there is plenty to do every night of the Biker Bash.

The Boars Nest Bar and Grill is a great place to get away from it all.  The atmosphere is casual, laid back and easy going.  Britts' emphasis is to provide a venue where her customers can relax and have a good time and to that end she is extremely successful.  The establishment is well suited to cater any size event from a small party to a large extravaganza.  I would very highly suggest that if your club needs a venue for an event or a place to stop for lunch on a ride, that you consider the Boars Nest Bar & Grill.  If you are riding on Route 149 and just need a place to relax and take a load off, take the 3 minute trip down Patten Mills road and stop at the Boars Nest.  You will be glad that you did.

Low Expectations MC

The Internet is a wonderful tool and I am so glad that Al Gore invented it.  I look at the things that I am able to do from my desk at home or at work and wonder how I ever survived without it in the past.  In fact, if it was not for the Internet I would not be able to publish this magazine and I would not have found the motorcycle club that I proudly call home.

I purchased my Fury in June 2009 and spent that summer riding alone.  Some riders like the lone wolf style of riding but personally I like to ride with a group.  I lead a somewhat busy life and I could not make a commitment to a brotherhood style club.  The club I was looking for had to meet some criteria that I was sure no club would be able to meet.  The first criteria would be that my commitment to the club had to be minimal.  Meetings, rides and events that required my attendance were out of the question.  I just do not have the time to make those commitments.  To meet the second criteria, the focus of the club has to be on club sponsored rides and there had to be a significant number of rides so that I could slide a few of them into my schedule.  The third criterion was the lack of political bull crap and the final criterion was club involvement in charity work.

I purchased my Fury in June 2009 and spent that summer riding alone.  Some riders like the lone wolf style of riding but personally I like to ride Honda Furywith a group.

GoogleSo how do I find such a club?  I turn to my trusted search engine which is Google and one of the first clubs to pop up in my search was Low Expectations MC in Albany NY.  A trip to their web site at http://www.meetup.com/lowxmc/ and I was immediately intrigued.  While there I discovered that Low Expectations MC is a virtual club and met all of my criteria.  What I thought would be an endless search took all of 5 minutes from discovery to registration.

Low Expectations PatchLow Expectations MC was formed in January of 2008 by a core group of riders including Peter who is the President and JB who is the Organizer.  JB created the web site at Meetup.com and the core group had their first meeting at Maxies on Wolf Road in Albany NY in January 2008.  At first the club did not have a name and a discussion was placed on the site to allow the membership to determine the clubs name.  At the same time, Peter, JB, Jeremy and Bethany Parks were on a ride.  Bethany was not yet a club member at this point in time but was riding with the group.  She stated up front that the group should not expect much of her during the ride.  During the ride, Bethany's gas gauge stuck on full, she missed a fuel stop and ran out of gas.  When chided by the group her response was something on the order of "I told you to have Low Expectations" and the club name was born.  I have not had the privilege of meeting Bethany but someday I hope to.  She lives her life as I wish I could live mine.  Not expecting much from others and simply asking that in return they do not expect much from her.  Yet she is a cancer survivor that still finds the time to go to Kenya for three weeks to help the people there and she gives freely of herself to the causes of leukemia, breast cancer and MS.

Let's take my criteria and see how Low Expectations meets them.

RidersThe first and second criteria were that the club has a significant number of club rides and my commitment to them was minimal.  Low Expectations meets these criteria because any member can suggest a ride on the web sites Meetup page.  When that happens, an e-mail message is automatically sent to each member with a link to the newly entered item on the Meetup page.  If the ride is of interest to you and you want to attend you simply RSVP "Yes" on the site and you are registered.  The site shows which members have committed, which members have not committed and which members have not yet responded.  If your plans do change, you have the ability to go back into the entry and set your RSVP to No.  It is considered extremely bad form to RSVP Yes and then not show up.  Some rides have a limit on the number of riders that are allowed to go because of lunch reservations etc.  If you RSVP Yes and the ride limit is reached and you are a no-show that means that a fellow club member who wanted to go was not able to because of your lack of ability to simply update your RSVP response.  Not much will get you booted from the club, but repeated no shows is right up there at the top of the list and no one in the club will feel sorry for you if you do get the boot.  The rule is simple; no one is requiring you to commit to a ride but if you do, you darn well better show up.  Because any member can suggest a ride there are numerous rides happening during any given month, so it is easy to find a club ride that fits your schedule. The core group would like each member to attend at least two events during the season.  At the end of each season the core group will trim the voyeurs from the membership roles based on that two event attendance.

The third criterion (no political bull-crap) is met because this club is a benevolent dictatorship.  Peter, JB and the core group run the show and personally I am fine with that.  They are individuals whose judgment I have come to trust and if they make a decision that the membership does not like, it is well reviewed in the message boards on the clubs web site.  Club members can also e-mail the core group expressing their opinions from within the web site.  Because there are no elections for officers there is no political bull crap, in-fighting or cliques.  They keep the peace and the rest of us get to ride.  It seems like a good deal to me.  As JB pointed out during the interview for this article, "We are not trying to build a brotherhood here, just a group of people who like to ride".

Low Ex at Double-HI firmly believe that when you get a group of individuals together to form an organization, you have a powerful tool forLow Ex at Work Double-H doing good and you should use that tool for that purpose as much and as often as possible.  Thus, my fourth criterion was the clubs involvement in charity work.  Low Expectations meets that criterion as well.  Each year in April they make a run to the Double-H Hole in the Woods Ranch in Lake Luzerne NY and help prepare the camp for the summer season.  The Double-H Hole in the Woods camp provides camping opportunities for chronically ill children.  Double-H Ranch was founded by local philanthropist Charles R. Wood and actor Paul Newman.  It was the second camp in the series of Paul Newman's "Hole in the Wall" camps.  This is truly a cause worthy of our support.

SCF LogoJB and I have something in common, we are both Cancer survivors.  JB's doctor (Dr. Goodman) has started the Schenectady County Cancer Foundation.  The purpose of the foundation is to assist those cancer patients with need to be able to get to and from their therapy.  To support the foundation, Dr. Goodman has arranged for a screening of the movie "Long Way Down" at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady NY.  There will be a reception at 2:00 PM and the movie starts at 4:00 PM.  All proceeds go to the Foundation.  As I look at the meetup entries at the Low Ex web site I can see that there are 25 Low Expectation members committed to going to this fund raiser.  It is also expected that there will be a great many riders from other groups and clubs within the area.  If you are interested in more details about the movie and event, please refer to the companion article in this issue and we encourage you to attend this event.

I love to ride.  I am on my bike every chance I get.  My wife states that my Fury has a major defect in that my rear always seems to stick to theRide on Rte. 149 seat.  Most of the rides that Low Expectations have are day trips either through the Adirondacks (my personal favorite), the Catskills or the Berkshires.  There is an overnight trip currently in place to go to Maine and other long distance/overnight trips are in the planning stages.  The club even has a Scavenger Hunt in place and members earn points for riding to different locations and sending in a photo of them at the location.  Different destinations carry different point values.  It is another well thought out tool to give you a target destination for a ride on your own.  The club rides are conducted professionally.  On any given ride you can have riders that have been riding for years and riders participating in their first group ride.  For that reason, the rides are well paced and usually no faster than 5 miles an hour over the speed limit.  I personally like that pace since it gives me a chance to enjoy the ride and the view.

For me Low Expectations MC fits my life style perfectly.  There is minimal commitment to attend unless I make the commitment myself.    There are a large number of reasons to join this motorcycle club but the best reason of all is this.  "This is the coolest bunch of people that you would ever want to ride with or be associated with".

Give the "High Hopes" chapter of Low Expectations MC a try.  You will be glad that you did.

Americade - A Survival Guide

No, this is not going to be an article about the history of Americade or a biography of the founder or a story on how much the influx of riders impacts the local economy.  Rather this is an article about how to best enjoy and survive Americade

No, this is not going to be an article about the history of Americade or a biography of the founder or a story on how much the influx of riders impacts the local economy.  Rather this is an article about how to best enjoy and survive Americade

The LawFirst and foremost, if you are coming to Americade make sure that your ride is street legal and conforms to all New York State Vehicle and Traffic Laws as they pertain to motorcycles.  If you run straight pipes and you come to Americade, you can count on getting busted.  Pure and simple and it is a fact.  This is not Laconia or Daytona, this is a touring rally and loud pipes are very highly discouraged by the people that run Americade and that trickles down to the local authorities.

The days leading up to Americade (June 3rd to June 6th) you will find the State Police manning motorcycle checkpoints at the rest area below Exit 18 on I-87 Northbound or on U.S. Route 9 north of I-87 Exit 17 .  These are mandatory stops for all cycles and involve a very thorough inspection of the bike, your gear and paperwork.  If you are planning on traveling through those areas during those days, make sure that everything is in order and plan on the extra time when planning your trip.

County Sheriff

The Warren County Sheriffs' Department condcuts unscheduled and roving checkpoints throughout the Americade event.  Experience has shown that these checkpoints are infrequent and usually conducted during the evening hours but you never know when one is going to pop up.  As one would expect with an event of this magnatude, the Sheriffs' Patrol and State Police presence in the area is greatly expanded.  They realize that  you are there to have a good time and they act accordingly.  If you are acting civilized they will more than likely leave you alone.  If you are acting like a juvenile, an idiot or a drunk you will more than likely get a chance to talk to one or two of them.

So a final word to the wise.  If you are coming to the Lake George Region during Americade, make sure that you, your bike, your helmet, your paperwork and your attitude are in order.

Americade RegistrationSo you made it to Lake George and are ready for Americade.  If you are pre-registered for Americade you will need to be at the Holiday Inn on Canada Street on Monday June 7th to complete the registration process.  Registration is from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and the lines at 11:00 AM are always extremely long.  If you like standing in line for an hour or more and meeting new people then arrive at 11:00 AM.  If you hate lines then I might suggest that you take a ride and check in around 3:00 PM.  Trust me, the line will be shorter at 3:00 PM.  If you only want to paticipate in Americade for a single day, day passes can be procured at the Holiday Inn starting Tuesday the 8th.

Field of BikesParking is always a problem at Americade.  It is not a space issue but rather an enforcement issue.  The Village of Lake George does not cover their meters during Americade and the parking regulations are strictly enforced.  As you leave the Americade registration, the Village of Lake George will have a tent set up where they sell parking permits or you can purchase parking permits at the Village Hall and on the Beach Road.  The parking permit allows you to park anywhere in the Village of Lake George where parking is allowed without having to put money in a parking meter.  When you purchase a permit, you will also receive a pass to ride the Village Trolley for free for the entire period that Americade is scheduled.  The real problem with parking results when one or two bikes that have parking permits and are parked in front of a meter that shows a violation and a third bike parks there that does not have a permit.  Most people would think that since there are a couple of bikes there already that a third bike will not be an issue.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  The bike that does not have a permit will be ticketed.  If you plan on parking in Lake George, save yourself some grief and purchase a parking permit.  They are $9.00 and are valid for the duration of Americade.

Prospect Mt.ParadeTo particpate in the Americade events you must be registered with Americade.  There is one event however that is open to the public and that is the parade on Saturday, June 12th.  The parade forms on West Brook Road.  It proceeds west on Beach Road, north on Canada Street, makes a U-Turn at the intersection of Canada Street and Route 9N, proceeds south on Canada street and then proceeds up the Veterans Memorial Highway to the top of Prospect Mountain.  The ride up the Veterans Memorial Highway with the scenic views of Lake George is worth the time and the events held at the top of Prospect Mountain are always worth attending.  Since the parade is going north and south on Canada Street at the same time you get to see part of the parade while you are in it which is pretty cool too.

The heart of Americade is the Roaring Brook Ranch Resort located on Route 9N South.  There are a large number of factory demos held from this locaton.  RBR also is the location for the seminars, meetings and fashion shows.  You will have to be a registered Americade participant to even enter the RBR property so plan accordingly.

Tour ExpoAmericade has a vendor area named Tour Expo.  This year Tour Expo will be located at the DEC Parking Lot on Beach Road and at the Lake George Forum located on Canada Street.  There are vendors not affiliated with Americade that are scattered up and down Route 9.  So many vendors started setting up in Warrensburg (5 miles north of Lake George Village) that the community has established a series of events that they call Warrensburg Bike Week (see Warrensburg Bike Week in this issue).  South of Lake George Village on Route 9 is the Leather Outlet and there are always vendors set up there as well.  It is not hard to find , just head south on Route 9 until you see bikes lined up on the right hand side of the road.  Just a little further south you will find vendors set up in the shopping plazas on Route 9.

Lake George ForumLake George ForumIf you have registered for Americade then please be sure and visit TourExpo, you will be glad that you did.  If you need bling for your bike or equipment for you, it is there to be found.  There are several gates to enter Tour Expo on the Beach Road and it appears as though you can drive your bike right into Tour Expo but you can't.  You will need to find parking and walk there or take the Trolley.  Some vendors will install the products that you bought for your bike at Tour Expo.  Depending on where the vendor is located, they will give you a colored pass which allows you to bring your bike into Tour Expo through the gate that matches the colored pass given to you.  There are multiple colored gates so make sure that you know the location of the gate that you are supposed to use before you go get your bike.  It beats driving around in circles trying to locate your gate.

If you come to Americade we hope you enjoy the area we call home, we welcome you and encourage you to explore the area without fear.  This is a tourist detination and we have been entertaining visitors for generations and we would like to think we know how to do it.

Warrensburg Bike Week 2010

By Ed Frulla   Thu, Apr 29, 2010

Warrensburg Bike Week 2010

It all started eight or so years ago when a non-resident rented a vacant piece of property on Main Street in Warrensburg near the Post Office and offered spaces to vendors who were not associated with Americade.  The following year the locals got smart and decided to sell the vendor spaces themselves.

It all started eight or so years ago when a non-resident rented a vacant piece of property on Main Street in Warrensburg near the Post Office and offered spaces to vendors who were not associated with Americade.  The following year the locals got smart and decided to sell the vendor spaces themselves.

As each Americade passed, more and more vendors came to the 'Burg' to set up shop.  It is a great place to do business.  There are a large number of vendors located up and down Main Street, the parking is free and it is only a five minute ride north on Route 9 from the Village of Lake George and the natives are relatively friendly.

With a continuous flow of bikes in and out of town it was the perfect environment for the locals to start hosting events and rides and what used to be a loose gaggle of vendors started to become organized and eventually became known as Warrensburg Bike Week.  Each year more events are added, most of which support local charities or not for profit organizations.

The schedule for this year is not yet firm but we will tell you what we know:

6/5/2010 - 6/12/2010

The North Country Ministries contributes to the well being of the people in the area both physically and spiritually.  They are one of the many organizations that will receive a benefit from Warrensburg Bike Week.

They will be staffing an Information and Registration Booth at their headquarters on Main Street across from the post office.  Stop by and register with Warrensburg Bike Week so that they are able to inform you of the schedule of events for next year.

6/5/2010     Charity Ride for local resident Tami Benoit

Tami is recovering from thyroid cancer and this run is to assist Tami and the family with expenses.

The ride will depart from Ashes Hotel on Hudson Street and return to Ashes Hotel in time for the participants to attend the concert being held in the Town Center at 1:00 PM

Registration is from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM and the ride departs at 10:00 AM.

A breakfast buffet is included and will be served starting at 7:30 AM.

The cost is $15.00 per rider or $20.00 per couple.

6/5/2010 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

A concert at the Band Stand in the center of town.  The authorities close down one of the streets and the band "Chain Lightning" will entertain the crowd.  This surely will turn into an old fashioned street dance.

6/6/2010   Breakfast to support the Elementary School Playground Fund

Breakfast will be served at the Warrensburg Elementary School Cafeteria from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The proceeds will enable the Warrensburg Elementary School Playground Committee to install new playground equipment and a new playground environment at the Elementary School.

6/6/2010   Blessing of the Bikes

Father Cornelius of the Holy Cross Church will conduct the Blessing of the Bikes in the HHHN parking lot at 9:15 AM.

6/6/2010  Party to Benefit the Elementary School Playground Fund

The party will be held at Ashes Hotel on Hudson Street and will start at 12:00 PM.

From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM there will be live entertainment with an outdoor BBQ.

From 4:00 PM to ??, there will be a special band providing live entertainment.  Ashes has both an indoor bar and an outdoor bar so there should be plenty of access to liquid refreshment.

There is a $5.00 donation to the Elementary School Playground Fund to enter the grounds and the cost of the BBQ will be an additional cost.

6/7/2010 5:00 PM    A Service to Honor Local KIA Personnel

The partying continues with a party at Ashes Hotel on Hudson Street.  There will be live entertainment during the evening.

6/10/2010   An All Day Event at Ashes Hotel

This is an all day event at Ashes Hotel on Hudson Street featuring contests, a bike show, Tattoo artists etc.

At 4:00 PM DJ Scott Johnson will be on hand to play your favorite tunes and there will be a Karaoke contest as well.

At 6:00 PM there will be an outdoor chicken BBQ.

6/11/2010  The Partying Continues at the Ashes Hotel

During the evening there will be live entertainment, giveaways and an outdoor BBQ.

6/12/2010   A Ride to Benefit The North Country Ministries

The ride is being sponsored by the Flaming Pumpkins MC and will depart CB's Restaurant & Pub on River Street.  This is a wet ride through the Adirondacks.

From CB's the ride will proceed to Minerva with a refreshment stop at Sporty's Iron Duke Saloon.  From Sporty's the ride will proceed to Newcomb where there will be a lunch stop at the Newcomb House.  Lunch is optional and there is an additional $5.00 charge for lunch.  From the Newcomb house the ride will proceed through Long Lake to Indian Lake where it will stop at the Bear Trap for what else, refreshments (anyone seeing a pattern here).  A departure from the Bear Trap will lead the participants to Laura's in North Creek.  From Laura's the ride proceeds to J & J's Fox Laire Tavern in Bakers Mills where there will be a pig roast.  I took this ride last year and it was a blast and the pig roast was fantastic.

As mentioned, the ride forms at CB's on River Street.  Registration is from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM with clutches out at 11:00 AM.

The cost of participation for the ride is $15.00 per rider or $20.00 per couple which includes the cost of the pig roast but not the cost of the lunch at the Newcomb House.

6/12/2010  A Benefit Party at the Ashes Hotel

This party is to benefit the Jack Falvo III Foundation which is attempting to build "Jacks' Place", a residence near the Sunny View Hospital. "Jack's Place" will provide a place to stay for family members whose loved ones are receiving treatment at the Sunny View Hospital.

The benefit begins at 3:00 PM and there will be live entertainment, raffles and an outdoor BBQ.

There is a $5.00 donation at the door and the cost of the BBQ is additional.

As mentioned earlier, not all of the details are final.

We published this article with what we had, to give you some time to plan.

The final details will be published in the June issue which will be available to you on May 31st.

On Sunday, May 16th, the Schenectady Cancer Foundation will present a screening of the Fox Reality Channel Original show "Long Way Down".  "Long Way Down" chronicles the adventures of two adventurers as they motorcycle from the most northern tip of Scotland, thru England, France, Italy, Tunisia, Africa and end their journey in Cape Town South Africa.

The mission of the Schenectady Cancer Foundation is to provide transportation to treatment sessions for those in need who would otherwise not be able to attend their treatment sessions.  The Foundation is supported 100% by donations and fund raising events.

The screening will be aired at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady NY.  The reception starts at 2:00 PM and the movie starts at 4:00 PM.

There will be bikers/riders from many local clubs on hand and I know for a fact that at least twenty-five members of Low Expectations MC in Albany are planning to attend.

Being a cancer survivor myself I can think of no better way to spend my time and money than to support the good work of the Schenectady Cancer Foundation.  I encourage you to attend this event and bring a few friends along.

Sportline Power Products - Open House

Our friends at Sportline Power Products in Queensbury, NY are having a Grand Opening Event on May 15th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Our friends at Sportline Power Products in Queensbury, NY are having a Grand Opening Event on May 15th from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The public is invited to help them celebrate the Grand Opening of their newly expanded show room and facility.

This is an exciting time for them as they have been busy trying to get the expansion completed and to get moved into the new space.  The extra space will allow them to display a larger variety of bikes, ATVs and PWCs than they were able to do in the past.  They also have more room for accessories and clothing and the facility has a fresh look to it.  The service and parts departments were also expanded to make them even more patron friendly and efficient.

There are many changes that have occurred at Sportline Power Products but one thing that has not changed is the professional nature of the staff and the high level of service.  It is after all, impossible to change perfection.

So drop by for a few minutes on May 15th and enjoy the new facility and the festivities.
